The Meet Cute
Although they lived only 40 minutes from one another for most of their lives, Becca and Michael didn't meet until early morning December 21, 2016. It took a trip halfway across the world for their paths to finally converge. Of course, neither expected to meet their beshert at Terminal B at Newark Airport, both were just excited for their Birthright trip to Israel.
Becca already knew about the "cute Jewish boy from Dallas", because she's a cyberstalking pro, and Michael played it cool. After Becca brandished her "stash" of snacks she'd hidden away in her backpack, Michael was smitten and he had to get to know this girl, and her snacks better.

The Engagement
Becca planned a surprise for Michael's birthday, but then let it slip: a snowboarding trip to Banff in December. Banff was absolutely beautiful! Picture a small mountain town full of friendly Canadians (then, forget that, and check out some of our actual pictures below). The two went snow tubing, hiking, on a gondola ride up the mountain, found a few Albeerta breweries, and of course Michael went snowboarding. They ended their trip at the Fairmont Chateau Hotel on Lake Louise (that lake that's everyone's desktop background). Michael was hyping up ice skating on the frozen lake for some time. Alas, they were unable to ice skate because there was too much snow on the lake- so instead, Michael insisted they went snowshoeing.
Michael was determined to walk to the very middle of the gorgeous lake, surrounded by snow covered mountains and trees. Maybe it was Becca's astute detective skills, or the fact that Michael kept touching his chest pocket, but it became obvious what Michael was planning to do. So, Becca nope'd out of there as fast as her snowshoes could carry her. But Michael convinced her nothing was happening so she took a snowsh'u' turn. Of course, something was happening and he popped most of the question.

Lucy Mwanzia
Lucy is the person to call if you want blackmail on Becca. The two met in their 5th grade homeroom, and have thought of each other as sisters ever since. Years later, the two cannot agree if it was apple or orange juice that brought them together. Lucy is a self-made Pinterest chef.
Cristy Lewis
The two met at their first pledge class meeting but didn't talk much and only really exchanged awkward toothless grins and head nods. That is until Cristy asked Becca to help pay for rent and tackle Sophomore year as roomies! When Becca didn't have her crap together - which happened often - Cristy was the one with the pooper scooper. Now, she bestows the burden of the scooper to Michael. Cristy's guilty pleasure is watching trashy reality TV like The Bachelor and Real Housewives.
Samantha Mori
Samantha and Becca occupied similar space in close proximity during their teenage years since they attended the same high school. Luck had it that they both chose OSU after gradation and joined the same sorority. There, they spent their time together on The Strip, at OSU football games, and making awkward eye contact with Pistol Pete.
Melissa Snively
Melissa was best friends with Michael in college, so when Becca came into the picture, Melissa forced Becca to be friends with her. After a few mangoritas - which they are forbidden to drink again - Melissa and Becca formed their own strong bond and don't need Michael anymore to carry their friendship.
Carly Bierman
Carly is Michael's younger sister and Becca's soon to be sister! At first, Becca was scared to meet Carly, as her fiery red hair gave her Cheryl Blossom vibes. Once they met the two became instant besties! Born only 4 days apart Carly and Becca formed a special bond gossiping, talking about the Bachelor(ette), and making fun of Michael. Carly is very excited to have another sister join the Bierman clan!
Philip Bierman
Philip is Michael's older and equally tall brother. In their younger years, Philip was the leader of the covert espionage agency called "The Eagles" which employed Michael as Assistant to the Regional Agent. Since his retirement from the Agency, Philip has become a proud father of one which makes Michael a prouder uncle of one.
Dylan Kaye
Dylan and Michael have known each other since pull-ups. Even though it took Dylan several years longer than Michael to fully graduate from pull-ups, they've always been very close friends. Around 1st grade, Michael moved a couple doors down from Dylan. This meant even more Taco Bell runs on Razor scooters, raw cookie dough, and video games. Dylan and Michael have been bitter Pokemon rivals ever since Pokemon science camp.
Sefi Elbaz
Sefi and Michael have been close friends ever since Michael accidentally flung a ping pong paddle across a room and into Sefi's head back in high school. From that moment onward, Sefi knew it was destiny for them to be lifelong pong partners. Sefi has a zipping skill level of 100 and has been known to help with tricky zippers when the task of zipping becomes too difficult.
Mitchell Blumka
"I don’t have a high school memory that doesn’t include Michael. Whether it was a ski trip, shabbaton, or simply getting lost in the creek, covered in poison ivy, sliding through mud, stuck in the rain and attacked by mosquitos, Michael has always been right by my side. The world thought of us as rambunctious teenagers and we understood we had a responsibility to be as reckless and carefree as possible. Though the wild nights have slowed down, I look forward to decades later, where we find ourselves causing all sorts of mayhem together."
Ben Gartmann
Ben is Becca's older and much taller brother. Together, Ben and Michael participated in their first Spartan Race. They each broke their personal record! It wasn't until Ben approved of Michael - after several meet and greets and ocular pat downs - that Becca knew Michael was finally accepted into the family.
